Semarang – The Department of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University (FK Undip) held a Send-Off Ceremony for the International Nurse Development Program – Cycle 4, in collaboration with the Binawan Foundation and FH Campus Wien University of Applied Sciences, Austria.

The event took place at the Nursing Auditorium, Faculty of Medicine, Undip, on Thursday (October 9, 2025), and was attended by the Head of the Department of Nursing, Dr. Anggorowati, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat, along with faculty members and teaching staff. Also present was Kristin Tan, S.AB., MM, Chief Marketing Officer of Binawan Group, who delivered remarks and presented a symbolic handover to the awardees.

In this ceremony, a total of 19 students and alumni from the Department of Nursing, Undip, were officially sent off to Austria to participate in the Nurse for Vienna program—an international initiative that provides Indonesian nurses the opportunity to pursue further studies and professional experience abroad through a fully funded scholarship scheme.

This program is part of Undip’s continuous efforts to support the internationalization of nursing education, enhance global competencies of healthcare professionals, and expand international professional networks.

Dr. Anggorowati emphasized that this initiative not only opens global career opportunities but also reflects Undip’s strong commitment to preparing Indonesian nurses with international competitiveness.

Meanwhile, representatives from the Binawan Foundation expressed appreciation for Undip’s ongoing collaboration in preparing professional nursing graduates capable of excelling on the global stage.

The send-off ceremony concluded with a group photo session featuring all participants, faculty members, and representatives from partner institutions—symbolizing the shared support and well-wishes for the awardees’ upcoming international journey.

Through this program, it is hoped that more Undip nursing students will be inspired to embrace international opportunities, enhance their professional skills, and proudly represent Indonesia in the global nursing arena.
